In January 2000, Satellite merged with
Reach Dane, a community-based, nonprofit umbrella agency for the delivery of a variety of child development and family support programming for young children and their families. Reach Dane serves over 1000 children in Dane and Green County through programs that include Head Start, Head Start Plus Child Care, Satellite Family Child Care System, Family Services, Early Head Start and programs that support the professional development of staff. Reach Dane has become the largest provider of both preschool and infant/toddler programming in the Southern region of Wisconsin.
