Exploring Quality in Family Child Care

Satellite’s Exploring Quality in Family Child Care professional learning series offers educators the opportunity to learn more about individual Satellite Accreditation Standards. These events explore the topic in depth with a focus on the evidence-based rationale and ideas for practical implementation in programs. The recorded webinars are between 45-60 minutes in length.

SPECialized trainings

Satellite’s specialized training offers educators an in depth exploration of a topic based on reported interest or identified need. These events combine essential information with meaningful practice and showcase Satellite educators in a variety of ways. The recorded webinars are between 90-120 minutes in length.

The Curriculum Philosophy Series

Satellite’s Curriculum Philosophy Series offers educators the opportunity to learn more about five curriculum approaches – Emergent Curriculum, Anji Play, Waldorf, Montessori, and Forest School –  showcasing how each can be implemented in family child care. Each session explores one educational framework with the help of an experienced educator. The recorded webinars are between 75-100 minutes in length.

The autism Series

Satellite’s Autism Series offers educators the opportunity to learn more about autism and inclusion in early learning programs. Guest speakers showcase their knowledge and experience in autism as professionals, individuals, and family members. The recorded webinars are between 60-75 minutes in length.
